Write it down

Think about what happened as you moved to show love. How did it feel to practice loving others? How did others respond to your love? Take some time and write about your experience as a testimony to the joy of living a life of love.

I am not ashamed of the Gospel~ My Lord Jesus Christ~

Today, I went to subway for lunch on Monroe Avenue downtown. I saw this hurting older black man who was drinking, hide his alcohol in a small bush so noone would notice.

The Holy Spirit spoke to my heart to minister to this man so I went up to him and talked with him for awhile. I witnessed to him about Jesus Christ and that God loves him so much.

I shared that God understands his pain and that God can heal him mentally, emotionally and physically if he opens his heart to Jesus Christ and that God's desire is to have a relationship with this hurting man.

To his surprise, I told him I was
born deaf and that I had faith and experienced God's healing my voice so I could speak when I was a child. God healed me so God will also heal him!

I told him that I do hope that we would get to meet again soon to talk. I saw his tears....I believe that the Holy Spirit is working in his life.

I pray that each one of you will open your heart, listen and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in witnessing to hurting people.

Please read this scripture: For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and
sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels." Mark 8:38 NKJV

Blessings,
